Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the JUDICOM journal must comply with the aims and scope as well as the author guidelines of the journal. The submitted manuscripts must demonstrate scientific originality or novelty relevant to the journal’s aims and scope.

All manuscripts must be free from any form of plagiarism. Each author is required to perform a similarity check using plagiarism detection software, and the use of Turnitin is highly recommended. In the JUDICOM journal, editors also conduct plagiarism screening using Turnitin software.

Research articles submitted to this journal will undergo a peer-review process by at least two (2) or more expert reviewers who have outstanding reputations in their respective fields. The JUDICOM journal ensures that all reviewers have no conflict of interest.

Reviewers provide objective scientific assessments to improve the quality of the manuscript and determine whether it can be published with major revision, minor revision, or should be rejected, in an impartial manner.

The type of review used is an international double-blind peer review system.

The final decision on article acceptance will be made by the Editors based on reviewers’ comments. The publication of accepted articles and the order of publication will be determined by the Editor in Chief. Considerations such as the date of acceptance, geographical distribution of authors, and thematic issues are among the main factors influencing publication.

The decision on submitted manuscripts will be made within four (4) months from the submission date, based on reviewers’ feedback. Reviewed manuscripts will be treated confidentially and fairly prior to publication.
