Author Guidelines

Article submitted for publication have to check to the following guidelines:

  1. The manuscript must follow the Journal Template;
  2. Manuscript must be in line with the aims and scope of Jurnal Peurawi;
  3. Manuscripts must be composed in accurate British English or American English; authors are therefore highly advised to engage a professional proofreader before submitting;
  4. Article length is about 5,000 to 7,000 words including footnotes and bibliography;
  5. Article must be typed on A4 paper using Georgia font, size 12, with 2 cm margins on all sides. Single spacing should be applied to the abstract and bibliography, 1.15 line spacing to the body of the article, and 1.5 line spacing between bibliographic entries;
  6. The manuscript must include a 150-200 words of abstract written in British English or American English;
  7. All submission must be provided in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format;
  8. The full name(s) of the author(s) must be provided, along with his/her/their affiliation(s) and complete email address(es); the corresponding author must be clearly indicated, and a manuscript may include a maximum of five (5) additional authors or co-authors;
  9. In matters of citation and bibliography, Jurnal Peurawi follows the Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full-note system);
  10. The body of the article must comply with standard scientific publication conventions, following the IMRaD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion), concluding with a conclusion;
  11. The title should be no longer than 12 words and phrased in accordance with the standards of academic publication;
  12. The journal does not permit excessive or concentrated submissions from the same author or co-author. Authors are therefore advised to observe an interval of at least one year between submissions. Repeated submissions under the same name—whether as principal author or co-author—within a short period may result in desk rejection, in order to uphold ethical standards and prevent potential publication misconduct;
  13. The manuscripts that do not follow the author guidelines will be rejected and will not proceed to the next stage of review;
